Folio: [4]-6-80-[8] pp.; 95 pl. (sm. tear in 1 pl., marg. dampstaining on first ff., occ. spotting).

Contemp. mottled sheep, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands (joints rubbed).

Later, corrected edition (1st: 1689) of this account of the reign of Louis XIV, based on medals, emblems, etc. Richly ill. with 95 engr., of which 2 large fold., incl. the engr. title, dedication and portrait of the author in a medallion by Nolin after P. Simon (dated 1688).
