Contemp. black polished morocco, covers with gilt-stamped decorated frames within gilt-ruled border, gilt spine with 4 raised bands and red leather title label, a.e.g., silver side fittings, decorative nails (at the edges and in triangles of 10) and clasps and catches signed "E" (sl. rubbed, gilt sl. faded). Lemaire, [1827]. 18mo: 355 (incl. front.)-[1] pp. Contemp. red long-grained morocco, covers with gilt-rolled floral frame, gilt flat spine, gilt sides, a.e.g., silver floral round decorative pieces on covers, decorative heart-shaped nails (in triangles of 6), clasp and catch signed "E" and a sm. mark in the form of a plant (sl. rubbed, 1 heart missing at back cover).
