St Lambert with the arms of the van Spoelberch family.

Galvanised copperplate, 13,4 x 18,1 cm, inscription in lower margin: "Men eert te Loven-joul S. LAMBRECHT d'aldermeesten, Voor sieckten van Peerden, Schaepen en Horen-beesten." (few very light scratches).

Good condition.

Three farmers with a horse, a calf and a sheep venerating St Lambert, patron saint of farmers and of the church of Lovenjoel near Leuven. The van Spoelberch family acquired Lovenjoel in 1649 and it is still home to the Kasteel de Spoelberch.
