First edition of the lessons taught by the French architect Blondel (1705-1774), Professor to the Academy of Architecture and contributor to the Encyclopédie. Vol. V and VI were written by the engraver and architect Pierre Patte (1723-1814). Illustrated (complete) with 377 plates, some fold. or on double-page (incl. the 40bis in pt. III and 39bis in pt. IV).
