Large figurative wall map by the sworn land surveyor P. Stijnen, from Schilde. Engraved by P.B. Bouttats and oriented towards the north-west, showing the river Scheldt and its estuary between the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe, the polders of Arenberg, Doel, Kallo, Beveren, Zwijndrecht, the Waasland and the polders of Zandvliet, Lillo, Oorderen, Oosterweel, Muisbroek, Ekeren, etc. Below the river: the city of Antwerp, the lordships of Deurne, Kiel, Wilrijk and the Markgravelei. A rare witness to the city and the surrounding polder landscape.
