Caerte figurative vande situatie der stadt Antwerpen met de forten, polders, bedijckte landen, schorren, ende slijcken daer annex gelegen aende Oost ende West sijde vande riviere de Schelde gemaeckt ende getrocken uyt de respective originele polder caerten, en vorts door eygene metingen ende oculeire inspectie der plaetsen gedaen door den onderschreven gesworen landt meter: actum Antwerpiae augustu 1748.

Bouttats and oriented towards the north-west, showing the river Scheldt and its estuary between the Verdronken Land van Saeftinghe, the polders of Arenberg, Doel, Kallo, Beveren, Zwijndrecht, the Waasland and the polders of Zandvliet, Lillo, Oorderen, Oosterweel, Muisbroek, Ekeren, etc. Below the river: the city of Antwerp, the lordships of Deurne, Kiel, Wilrijk and the Markgravelei. A rare witness to the city and the surrounding polder landscape.
