Folio: [118] ff. (sm. hole in text of f. P2, last 2 ff. loose; fore edge cut a bit too short sometimes taking a few letters of printed marginalia, staining, some min. soiling and browning, 4 pinholes in blank inner margin throughout).
19th-c. quarter vellum, cardboard covers (top corner of frontcover gone), flat spine.
Very rare second edition (1st 1552) of the translation by Nicolaes van Winghe of "Bellum Judaicum", containing Flavius Josephus' autobiography. Woodcut title with arms of Antwerp and image of a besieged city, between architectural ornaments. In Gothic type.
