Loose under original red shagreen wrappers, boards orn. with a large gilt crowned cypher with interlaced "LL" framed with gilt fillets and rolls and a Belgian lion in the corners, flat spine, white moiré paper doublures framed with a gilt roll (some min. rubbing on corners and turn-ins, sl. dark shadows on lower board).

Royal copies of the program of a concert performed by the band of the "Garde civique" under the direction of F. Janssens and the choir of the Royal Society "L'Écho de l'Escaut": national hymn, overture to "Quatre âges de l'homme" by Lachner, the choir of "Les chevaliers de Jérusalem" by Denèfve, "Fantaisie" on Verdi's "Trouvère" arranged by F. Janssens, and cantata "La Garde civique au Roi !", music by A. Lemaire, conductor of the Royal Theatre of La Monnaie, lyrics by G. Demarteau. These are printed in two columns on verso. King Leopold I, Marie-Henriette Duchess of Brabant, and Philippe Count of Flanders were present at the event, which was part of the national celebrations of the 30th anniversary of independence.
