4to: [10]-496-[25-5 bl.] pp. (some toning and dampstaining, single wormhole throughout).

Contemp. gilt-decorated calf, covers with blind-ruled frames and gilt central ornament and corner pieces (crudely recased and rebacked). Good copy.

Rare variant issue of the 1533 Wechel ed. of Erasmus’ popular book of classical anecdotes and quotations, 1st publ. Basel March 1531. Woodcut mark on title. Printed in italics.
