Old sheep, spine with raised bands and morocco label, a.e.g. (worn, front joint split, head and tail dam.).
Rare Lyon ed. of a very popular collection of biblical examples of Christian life by the Dominican Nicolaus Hanapus (1225-1291), the last Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem. The work, a Christianised imitation of Valerius Maximus, was often attributed to Bonaventura. Woodcut mark on title.
