Later edition (1st 1727) by Gomez, one of the most important novelists of her time. Ill. with 8 full-page pl. by Scotin after Bonnart. Very fashionable in the 18th century, the author relies on a historical setting to recount the life of a character. Above all, ahead of her time, Gomez uses these writings to celebrate women.
