Letter by which the Archduchess accepts the resignation of Jacques de Thiennes (d. 1534), Lord of Castre (Caëstre), of the office of stadtholder ("stadhouder") of Holland, which he had accepted in 1522 replacing Antoine of Lalaing (1480-1540), count of Hoogstraten. Countersigned "L[aurent] du Blioul" (ca. 1454-1542), first secretary of the Privy Council.
