Oil on copper, oval 8,5 x 6,3 cm; not signed, ms. annot. (not readable) on verso (faint claw in the picture).
In an orn. metal frame with hanging ring, laying down on dark red velvet, framed (not studied outside frame).
One of the sons of David Teniers the Younger (1610-1690) was a Recollet monk at Mechelen.
Prov. Paul Eeckhout (1917-2012), architect and curator of the Museum of Fine Arts in Ghent (coll. stamp, L. 824a).
