Oblong folio: 30 (of 33) pl. (portrait, title and 3 maps missing, i.e. 5. Gallia Belgica, 14. Latium, 8. Scythia & Sericae, some foxing, sm. damp stains, brown spots and repairs).

Modern red cloth, red sheep covers (scratches and a bit used).

A set of 30 maps of ancient geography from the 2nd ed. (1st: Leipzig, 1701-1706): 1-18. the 1st part with 18 (of 20) maps from J. Owen's new Cambridge edition (1703). - 18-30. the 2nd part with 12 (of 13) maps, taken from the original Leipzig plates but presumably printed in Amsterdam (1706), incl. 7 (of 8) from book III and 5 (of 5) from book IV. Owen used new plates for the 1st part. This copy has a numbering in the plate different from Shirley.
