Contemp. calf, gilt orn. spines on 6 raised bands, marbl. endpapers (sl. rubbed, all 5 vol. have a 19th-c. rebacking and rep. cover edges). Very good condition.

Original edition. With 231 engr. pl.: 203 city views (incl. the folding panoramic view of Liège), palaces, castles, abbeys and churches on double folding pl. engr. by Remacle le Loup, and 26 portraits by P.A. Kilian. Views of chateaux of Horion and Lexy are missing. The view of Spontin is only included in the second edition, without text (in contrast to what is mentioned by de Theux). Title pages in red and black ink.
