Contemp. leather, gilt spine with 5 raised bands, red edges, marbled endpapers, green marker (rubbed, spine def. at head and tail). In good condition.

Extensive course of logic, written by the Antwerp Jesuit pupil C.M. Gasparoli (later to become a very discrete bibliophile), probably at the end of his student years at the Jesuit College and in preparation for the Arts Faculty (in Leuven?). The course is illustrated with 5 full-page logic diagrams, and 24 pen drawings (i.a. 5 full-page, 14 circular) in the style of the 17th-c. Brussels emblematical Jesuit affixiones.
