Early and colourful manuscript map of a farm in Koolskerke (Oude Lichterveldsestraat 87, Ardooie) by a map maker of Wingene, J.B. Verkest (1780-1857). It shows the parcels with their land-owners, the "Kruys-beke" and the surveyed sowing land. Martinus Cloet, mayor of Coolscamp and heir of the farm, commissioned the farm together with the tenant, a local farmer named Felix de Puydt. In the early 19th c. the brewers' family Vanden Bussche became owner of the farm.
