Second edition (1st 1607) of the collection of emblems by O. Vaenius (1556-1629) on themes in Horace's poetry. Each emblem with a Latin motto, Latin quotations from classical authors, and verses in 4 languages: Spanish, Dutch, Italian and French. Ill. with engr. portrait of Horace on title and 102 (of 103) engr. full-page emblems.
