Etching, 40 x 56 cm, Japan paper 42,5 x 58 cm; engr. signature and mentions "Opus VIII" and "M. Maris p.". Stuck by upper margin under passe-partout. Nice plate.

Family scene with a couple and a young boy walking out of a (invisible) church, others figures around. By the Dutch painter and engraver Ph. Zilcken (1857-1930) after the Dutch painter Matthijs (Matthias) Maris (1839-1917), initially a member of the Hague School.
