Contemp. marbled calf (sl. rubbed), cover with triple gilt frame and gilt flower corner pieces, gilt name "C. Colins" on front cover, richly flowery orn. spine with 6 raised bands (sl. rubbed, sm. def. at head & tail), green leather title label, marbled edges and endpapers. Good copy.

First edition which remained unfinished. Only 150 copies were published. According to Saffroy, written by Pierre Alphonse Liévin Count de Coloma (1707-1788). Armorial woodcut on title.
