Contemp. limp vellum, flat spine, remains of ties, upper cover and bottom edge titled (soiled, sm. def. to spine). Good copy.

Extr. rare (3rd recorded copy?). Milan ed. of a Latin-Italian adaptation of Vives’ "Exercitationes Latinae linguae", by the Venetian writer Orazio Toscanella (1510-1580), 1st publ. Venice 1568. Woodcut mark on title, and a larger one at the end. Title within ruled border.
