Kept in a 4to obl. album, purple buckram, gilt titled (upper cover worn).

Nice set of photographs showing groups of men and women with children during a "Flemish Kermesse" in the Leopold Park, Brussels. These people, wealthily dressed, are standing in front of market stalls, attractions and bandstands ("Théâtre de marionettes", "Merveilles de la Nature - Camera obscura", "Grande parfumerie", etc.). The album is signed "Photographie Klary - Place Royale". According to Schwilden & Claes, Klary was active in the "Place Royale", Brussels, from 1893-1902. BnF specifies that Klary was the pseudonym of Charles-Louis Graindepice, who was a photographer in Algiers, then in Paris around 1879 and 1880.
