Engraving, 36 x 49 cm, laid paper, signed and dated in plate "I Harrewyn in. et fe. Antwerpen 1667" (brown toned paper, several sm. holes in paper).
Under passe-partout, under wooden frame.
Rare allegorical broadsheet with satirical representations of the layers of society (the priest, the soldier, the farmer, etc.) and their motivations in the world. The lawyer is proudly bragging that he can make his fortune from other peoples' quarrels.
