Illustrated with 141 beautiful chromolithogr. plates of fruits (apples, pears, grapes, peaches, strawberries, cherries, plums, melons, etc.) sketched and chromolithographed by P. De Pannemaeker. Some b/w portraits and pl. such as maps, plans, monuments and various views in black, and numerous figures in text. The periodical was edited by Fr. Burvenich, E. Pynaert, E. Rodigas, H. and J. Van Hulle, all professors at the School of Horticulture of Ghent. Table of pl. and figures at the end of each year.
