24mo: 318-[2]-[4 bl.] pp. (copy sl. browned, some scattered foxing, two with perforations).

Contemp. overl. vellum with visible sewing, flat spine with ink title, sprinkled edges (sl. dark).

First edition of this moral work giving advices on living righteously based on the translation of the sermons of Tauler. The Dominican mystic from Strasbourg (ca. 1300-1361), disciple of Meister Eckhart, promoted a certain neo-platonism in the spirituality of his order. Small woodcut on title-page.
