Mod. limp boards. Nice well-preserved copy.

Extr. rare (6th recorded copy?) Leipzig ed. of a popular schooltext: a collection of moralizing Latin distichs with a German verse translation ("Spruchdichtung"; ff. 2r-6r). The "Lentuli epistola ad Senatum Romanum de Hiesu Christo" (6r-v) is an apocryphal short text on the physical likeness of Christ, and was 1st published in the "Vita Christi" of Ludolphus de Saxonia (1474). Printed in gothic type.
