Rare first and only edition of this astronomical work by the Italian mathematician F. Saminiati, containing mostly astronomical tables. Saminiati, the son of merchants from Lucca, moved to Antwerp to study under the Flemish polymath Michiel Coignet (1549-1623). Illustrated with 3 engr. folding plates, "horologium astronomicum horizontale", "horologium horizontale" and "horologium murale". Woodcut initials and endpieces, some woodcut ill. in text.
