4to: [119 (of 120)] ff., 46-47/61-62 ll. (lacking initial blank, final blank preserved, occasional soiling or staining but good copy).

Contemporary binding : half sheep over wood, spine on 3 raised bands, 2 clasps and catches, old title on front cover (slightly loosening at front, rubbed, small defects at corners, head and tail defects).

Uncommon 4to edition of the basic work of Roman Law (set in larger type), with the Glossa ordinaria or Standard glosses (set in smaller type) of the Roman jurist Accursius (1182-1263). Text printed in red and black in gothic type, in 2 columns. Woodcut printer's mark at the end, printed in red. A few manuscript notes, old note on lower endpaper. Ref.
