Very nice contemp. hand-coloured woodcut, 16,6 x 12,2 cm (sheet), laid paper with watermark (crown?), monogrammed IC (?), dated 1517, large margins (dampstain at upper margin, corners reinforced, lead white oxidation, sm. repaired tear in left margin).
Very rare devotional woodcut of a Madonna and Child, probably German. Hand-coloured in blue, yellow, red and white.
