Etching and drypoint, 7,2 x 13,0 cm, laid paper, signed and dated "Rembrandt. f. / 1648".

Hinged to paper at upper edges. Good impression with margins. Excellent condition.

Slightly later impression from Rembrandt's original plate dated 1648, which was reworked several times without changing the composition. 6th state (of 9) before the plate was reworked by the workshop of Henri-Louis Basan (early 19th c.).
