Etching and engraving, 16,1 x 32,8 cm, laid paper with watermark (IHS), signature and address at bottom right: "Israel Silvestre ex. / cum privil. Regis. Callot In et fec." (few sm. spots, few traces of former mounting on verso).

Hinged at upper edges, under passe-partout. Good impression with wide margins. Good condition. One of his most accomplished compositions.

Nice impression of the martyrdom of St Sebastian surrounded by Roman ruins such as the Colosseum. 2nd state (of 2) with address.
