39 albumen silver prints, various dimensions, 25,7 x 21,3 cm, mounted on cardboard (edges of mounts frayed, some with moulds, some sl. faded).

Athens: Temple of Athena Nike, Temple of Hephaestus, Acroplis, Temple of Jupiter, Theatre of Bacchus, the Caryatid porch of the Erechtheion, Lycabette, the Erechtheion, the Propylaea etc. Egypt: Luxor Temple, Karnak temple complex, Colossi of Memnon, Great Hypostyle Hall, Ramesseum in the Theban Necropolis, Temple of Edfu and its pylons, Phylae, etc. Jerusalem: Mount of Olives, Valley of Josaphat, a cedar tree, Tomb of the Virgin Mary, etc. Syria, Baalbek: Temple of Jupiter, Temple of Venus, Cyclopean Walls, etc. Austria, Vienna: street view of Graben, the entrance of the Prater Park, monument to Prince Eugène at the Heldenplatz. Some with photographer's name: A. Beato (18351906), Italian-British photographer and brother of Felice Beato. Antonio is noted for his genre works, portraits, views of the architecture and landscapes of Egypt and other locations in the Mediterranean region. F. Bonfils (1831-1891), French photographer working in the Middle East and one of the first commercial photographers to produce images of the Middle East on a large scale.
