Senape (1788-1850) is one of the most prolific Italian landscape painters of the first half of the 19th century. His work emphasizes on the accurate depiction of architecture combined with the everyday life. His activity is however not mentioned in the biographical repertoires and is also absent in the various landscape painting studies of the 19th century.
