Folio: 88 pp., 1376 col., 1-[1 bl.] pp. (normal toning, some local spotting, occ. tiny wormtrack in lower margin).

Old calf (tears), covers with gilt central ornament, gilt spine with 6 raised bands. Good copy.

Paris ed., with exquisite notes of H. Estienne. Indexes and additional proverbs from i.a. Hadrianus Junius and Gilbertus Cognatus. Sofar the best edition of Erasmus' Adagia. Woodcut mark on title in old colours.
