Contemp. English binding: straight long-grained red morroco, gilt dentelle and fillet on covers, gilt orn. spine with raised bands, fore-edge painting depicting a view of Rome (spine and joints rubbed, covers slightly). Good copy.

Illustrated with copper-engravings by Robert Edge Pine after John Pine with: 2 portraits in frontispiece, 2 engr. titles, 6 full-page ill., 5 dedication leaves, 15 headpieces, 1 historiated initial, 46 plates, 11 tailpieces, 2 vignettes on part-titles, 1 double plate.
