New issue of the Wechel 1534 edition (1st: 1532), with modification of the date on title, of this illustrated edition by the French humanist G. Budé (1467-1540) of the classical texts on military matters. Ill. with 122 full-page and 1 half-page woodcuts showing military machines and siege engines, copied after the 1529 Augsburg edition by Heinrich Steiner. Woodcut mark on title and at the end.
