Publisher's binding: half grey paper, patterned paper with two shades of green winter jasmine on covers, gilt-stamped title on front cover, flat spine (flyleaves browned). Uncut copy.

Decorated with a frontispiece in colour for the ballad "Les princesses au pommier doux", initials and decorations wood-engraved by and after Lucien Pissarro. Eragny's mark on last leaf. Work in "Brook type" printed in red and black. Edition limited to 210 unnumbered copies (incl. 10 on vellum), one of the 200 on Arches hand-made paper. The music type was designed specially for this work from 16th-c. models.
