Publisher's binding: half grey paper, patterned paper with green and yellow saxifrage on covers, red stamped title on front cover, flat spine (flyleaves browned). Uncut copy.

Decorated with red borders on pp. 1-3, initials (the 1st large and historiated) and ornaments by Lucien Pissarro, wood-engraved by him and his wife Esther. Eragny's mark on title. Work with text in "Brook type" printed in red and black. Edition limited to 185 unnumbered copies (incl. 10 on vellum), one of the 175 on Arches hand-made paper. The verses, some in Italian, by the English poet Rossetti (1830-1894) were first published in 1847 on the private press of her grandfather, Gaetano Polidori. She wrote romantic, devotional and children poems. Errate slip at the end.
