Italian translation of the Sermons on Psalm 72 preached in 1493 by G. Savonarola (1452-1498). This Florentine Dominican, a prophet of apocalyptic changes in church and society (in his view) due to the evils of his times, was excommunicated, hanged and burnt. Nice woodcut (author in his study) on title. Printed in 2 col.
