In general good condition.

Large, interesting set of broadsheets, ordinances and regulations issued by or in the name of Maria Theresa (ca. 50; 1753-1779) or Joseph II (8; 1783-1787). In French or Dutch, mostly printed in Brussels by G. Fricx or the "Imprimerie Royale". I.a. on birth, marriage and death registers, trade and export of grain, the woods, cattle, the military and recruitment, fraudulous bankruptcy, the maintenance of parish churches, the beguinage of Brussels, a regulation to make the people of Leuven stop insulting Austrian or other troops, placement of lanterns in the streets to increase security in winter, treatment of the sick, floods, the maintenance and cleaning of the rivers Dyle and Demer, the transmission of church goods, Joseph II's state reform, and regulations for Ghent, Antwerp, Tournai, Brussels, Mechelen and Limbourg. Also two 18th-c. broadsheets issued in Liège.
