19th-c. red jansenist morocco by Chambolle-Duru, gilt-titled spine on 5 raised bands, a.e.g. (over marbled edges), gilt inside dentelles, marbled endpapers, cloth marker. Very good copy.
1st L’Angelier ed. (2nd 1541) of the French translation (1520) of Suetonius’ biographies of Roman Emperors by Guillaume Michel (d. 154x). 13 woodcuts by Denis Janot (identical but for the Emperor’s names). Woodcut mark of "Les angeliers" at the end.
