Rare and decorative engraved armorial map of the noble families of the county of Zeeland. Originally made of two (of four) double-page engravings from "Beschryving van den Zeelandschen Adel, met wapenkaarten". This is a suppl. to the first ed. of the "Nieuwe Cronyk van Zeeland, eerste deel" by Mattheus Smallegange, 1696 [= 1700]. Both engravings (each plate 41 x 33,5 cm) pasted on larger f. Our map contains 396 coats of arms, each one with arms and family name, from Abbenbroeck to Knibbe.
