Old calf, boards with orn. blind-stamped border and corner pieces, richly gilt spine with 5 raised bands (rubbed, front joint starting to split), gilt sides, marbl. endpapers, red edges. Very good copy.

Inexhaustible source and extensive history and survey of Marian devotion in all cities and villages of Brabant (Scherpenheuvel, Halle, Leuven, Antwerp, Landen, Tienen, Zoutleeuw, 's-Hertogenbosch, etc.) by A. Wichmans (1596-1661), abbot of Tongerlo. Woodcut ill. on title.
