Narration of the 1559-1615 wars in the Low Countries, ill. with 1 engr. title and 277 (on 285 ?) full-page engr., of which 1 double paged, some of them very spectacular, reduced copies of the ills of Hogenberg's historical work : portraits, views of cities, battles and battlefields, tortures, executions etc. Woodcut mark on 2nd part-title. The ills are identical in the Dutch, French and Latin editions. Ownership entries on t.-pp. Christophorus Finance.
