Formerly underlaid on laid paper.
In a dark and rustic interior, a saint (Paul of Thebes, the first Christian hermit ?) and a faun in friendly conversation. Nice drawing, finely executed by a talented but unknown artist. Ref. Not in Bénézit, Thieme-Becker nor on Internet.
