Folio: [19]-cccxcvj (= 396)-[6]-ci (= 101) ff. (lacking 1 blank prel. f. and final colophon f.; occ. marginal soiling, some dampstaining at end, single wormholes in blank inner margin, titles underlaid with typographic part pasted on woodcut border, general title with sm. burning-hole, part-title with loss in margin).
Mod. calf, covers with gilt central frame with gilt corner pieces and gilt ruled border, gilt spine with 5 raised bands, mod. endpapers. Good copy.
3rd ed. of the French Bible translation by Jacques Lefèvre d’Étaples (or Faber Stapulensis, 1455-1535), repr. after the 1534 Antwerp ed. of M. de Keyser. Full-page woodcut (Creation) facing f. 1r. General title in red and black within elaborate woodcut border. Calendar and headings of "Cantiques" (ff. 256-257) printed in red. Text in gothic type, in 2 col.
