Folio: [12]-855-[1]-xxxij (= 32) pp. (sl. toned and spotted, dampstained in top margin, wormtrack in blank bottom margin of final quires).
Contemp. sheep, richly gilt spine with 6 raised bands with red label, red edges, green silk marker (expertly repaired). Good copy.
The famous Jansenist Port-Royal translation, mainly by (Louis-)Isaac Lemaistre de Sacy (1613-1684). With an “Abrégé de la chronologie sainte”. Woodcut mark on title.
