Mod. vellum-covered boards, flat spine, (older) marbled edges. Good copy.
2nd Froben ed. (1st 1538) of a collection of agricultural literature from Antiquity. These "Geoponica" were compiled by Cassianus Bassus, called Scholasticus (6th-7th c.), although they were often attributed to the Byzantine Emperor Constantine IV (652-685). Woodcut mark on title, a larger one at the end. Printed in italics.
