The most famous black/white photographic portrait of the Belgian politician Joris Van Severen (1894-1940), founder of the Flemish nationalist and solidarist movement Verdinaso. Willy Kessels (1889-1974) was a Belgian photographer considered as most representative of "modernistic" photography. He became a friend of Van Severen in 1935 and realized photo and film reports for the Verdinaso.

Leirens (1888-1963), author of numerous portraits. Numbered copy (nr.236/326 of which 26 out of trade).
