Rare copy of the third ed. (first 1671) of this comprehensive treatise devoted to the mineral springs and the healing effects of the water - with some remarkable healings - in Aix-la-Chapelle (Aachen) and Burtscheid, a small village between Cologne and Aix, by the physician François Blondel (1613-1703). Charming ill.: an allegorical engr. title with at the back the coat of arms of Aix-la-Chapelle, a portrait of the author and two folding plates (the map of Aix-la-Chapelle and a view on Burtscheid), as well as different in-text illustrations.
