13 etchings on 5 large sheets of laid paper, 9,5 x 14,3 cm and 12,5 x 14 cm (waterstaining at edges, sl. frayed).
Nice suite representing forest landscapes with cottages, some animated with characters, shepherds, etc. Anthonie Waterloo (1609–1690) was a Dutch Golden Age artist who had specialised in landscapes. He was among the first artists to have established a reputation almost entirely based upon his work as a draughtsman. Ref. Hollstein L:21-23, 30-35, 50, 54, 63-64.
